Sonia's cancer is progressing and wearing her down. When I visited her on Tuesday afternoon, February 2nd, she was her cheery self, though energy level is nearing the bottom. She looks at her moment in life and sees this time "as a new beginning," and feels all is "well with her soul."

Sonia amazes me with her outlook, "My cancer, living with cancer is a blessing - a joy!" She adds, "I appreciate the opportunity to visit with and care for others who visit me in my home..." and now, in her room at Bainbridge Island Health & Rehabilitation.

Normal Visiting Hours at Bainbridge Island Health & Rehabilitation: 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM every day.
